Renaissance is now available!
Hello builders!
This is, without a doubt, our biggest update since the start of Early Access! And the reason? The Renaissance Age has finally arrived! But that’s not all...
We’ve also reworked many aspects of Antiquity and the Middle Ages to make the experience even better. For a detailed breakdown of the changes, check out our January news.
Two major improvements guide this update:
🔹 Clearer objectives to structure your progression.
🔹 More freedom in how you reach those goals.
Some players have mentioned that the game felt like it was playing itself, with little resistance. That made us rethink things! But remember, we’re designing Memoriapolis across four historical ages, and Antiquity is just the beginning of the journey.
So, we made big changes:
❌ Removed the chapter system—it was too restrictive.
🔄 Simplified the Age transition conditions.
⚖️ Completely reworked the game balance to add more challenge.
Playtests have confirmed it: Memoriapolis is now much more demanding… maybe even a bit too much? We’re counting on you to let us know!
And of course… The Renaissance Age!
New buildings, wonders, revamped trade and political systems, plus a new challenge map—there’s a lot to explore! But we won’t spoil everything—jump in and see for yourself.
To fully enjoy this overhaul, we strongly recommend starting a new game from Antiquity, even though your old saves remain compatible.
